Industry Veteran Andrew Trickett joins D-Link ANZ as Head of Service Provider Business
SYDNEY, 19 July 2016: Australian tech industry veteran Andrew Trickett has joined D-Link to head up the company’s service provider business in Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment comes as D-Link boosts its investment in products and services addressing the evolving needs of service providers across A/NZ.
Trickett brings to D-Link extensive experience of the service provider space, with his most recent role an 11-year tenure at Netgear where he rose through the ranks to head the A/NZ and wider South East Asia ISP business divisions.
“Andrew brings a wealth of expertise in the service provider space, with a track record of significant customer wins throughout the region, working across key product portfolios including DSL, mobility, Powerline and other associated segments,” said D-Link ANZ MD Graeme Reardon.
“With his deep technical knowledge and understanding of the service provider market, our clients in this space can look forward to enjoying even higher levels of engagement.”
Prior to Netgear, Trickett was technical product manager for Australian tech company, Netcomm Wireless.
Thanks to this and his various other roles in the industry, Trickett has acquired valuable hands-on experience across 3G/LTE, HFC, FTTP, xDSL, VoIP and DECT technologies.
“I’m delighted to be joining D-Link at a time when the company’s A/NZ business is breaking records, and as the potential for exciting technologies designed to address the requirements of the NBN, mobility and 4k content reaches new levels.”
