PoE
The DGS-3630-28PC and DGS-3630-52PC switches support the IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standards, which provide up to 30 W of power per port to power devices such as IP phones, Access Points, or security cameras.
Both models feature a 370W PoE power budget which can be increased to 740 W when outfitted with the DPS-700 redundant power supply, allowing the switches to power even more devices.

The DGS-3630-28TC was benchmarked against a market leading competitor's device. It matched or exceeded the competitor's performance across all tests despite being significantly lower in price with a much lower power consumption.
Versatile Management
The DGS-3630 Series offers a range of management options to suit different network requirements, including:

- Industry-standard Command-Line Interface (CLI)
- SNMP support for network monitoring and management
- Centralised management through Nuclias Unity cloud management or Nuclias Hyper on-premises software
SNMP enables integration with network management systems to monitor and manage multiple devices. For out-of-band management, a dedicated console port is provided.
Security, Performance & Availability
Robust set of QoS features helps ensure that critical network services such as Voice over IP and video conferencing are given high priority through the network.
The D-Link Safeguard Engine increases the switch’s reliability, serviceability, and availability by preventing malicious flooding traffic caused by worms or virus attacks.
