Software Managed Wireless Access Points
D-Link offers a wide range of robust wireless Access Points (APs) operating in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, supporting the latest wireless standards including 802.11ac and 802.11n. These access points can be managed independently as standalone devices, or collectively by using Central Wi-Fi Manager, a free centralized controller software that can be installed on a Windows server or PC.
Unified Wireless: Controller Managed Solutions
Unified wireless is a scalable wireless local area network solution that combines wired and wireless services. Using a Unified Switch or Controller, Unified Wireless makes use of centralized control policies that allow network administrators to manage the configuration of all access points.
PoE = Cost Savings
Power over Ethernet makes wireless installation simpler, safer and less expensive. Most of our business class access points support PoE allowing for single cable deployment. Combine this with a D-Link smart PoE switch and you can monitor and control your power remotely.
